JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – A Grubhub driver was arrested after snatching a pet from a Jacksonville Seashore house throughout a supply Saturday night time, the Jacksonville Seashore Police Division stated Sunday.
Police stated Arlinson Chilito is charged with grand theft, and Rick Block, the proprietor of the canine, stated his 10-month-old teacup poodle named Lexi is again house.
Block stated his household ordered a pizza from the restaurant Gusto round 6 p.m. Saturday. Police stated that when a supply driver from Grubhub, recognized as Chilito, arrived with the meals on the household’s house inside a condominium constructing on First Avenue South, the poodle exited the residence. Chilito then grabbed the poodle and hid her within the supply bag, in line with police.
Block stated the supply driver was caught on surveillance video strolling into an elevator with the canine earlier than leaving in a blue Ford Focus. Police stated Chilito was capable of exit the constructing by bypassing the foyer night time workers on responsibility.

On Sunday morning, Block posted on Fb that Lexi was again at house.
“Jax Seashore PD rocks!!! They had been wonderful. Really,” he stated.
Minutes later, the Police Division introduced Chilito’s arrest, saying he was positioned with the pet at his house in Jacksonville hours after the theft.
